3 Best Mantis Products to Greatly Improve Your Shooting

After using them for only a little while we have noticed an improvement in our performance at the range. Using this system makes dry fire fun and keeps you accountable. Mantis X

This is the basic building block of the system. It is a sensor array that fits onto Picatinny rail and connects to either your phone or tablet via Bluetooth. Mantis several adaptors for those firearms that do not have built in Picatinny rail. It can be used on pistols, rifles, shotguns, crossbows, even regular archery equipment. (Do NOT dryfire crossbows or archery equipment.) The Mantis X and some other versions are able to be used with live or dry fire. Make sure that you get the one that best fits your needs.

Blackbeard X

For those of us who own a small frame AR platform this is the system to use to improve your rifle performance. It consists of a replacement BCG and magazine/battery pack. The BCG will automatically reset your trigger. So much better than having to run the charging handle every time. The “magazine” houses the same sensors as the Mantis X and provides power to the BCG to reset the trigger.

Training Academy

The Training Academy is a stand alone product that does not require the above sensors to work, but when used together can maximize the effectiveness of both systems. It works by using the camera on your phone or tablet to pick up a laser dot on the target. There is a laser cartridge included with this system. Other laser marking systems such as SIRT guns can be used also. While it can work with any target some are included that interface with the system. Other Items

Mantis has plenty of ways of getting your sensor mounted from replacement magazine baseplates , to spud adapters for revolvers. They also have a system coming out for the SIG MCX.

Mantis has their own marksmanship programs built into the app if you don’t have a structured practice program of your own. As you pass the different levels they send you a velcro patch to signify your accomplishment.
